Set up
Get paid online
Connect Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay to Cliezoo with your own API keys, add manual payment methods like bank transfer, and set invoice reminders.
Cliezoo never takes a cut of your payments. Clients pay straight into your own processor account.
Where to set it up
Go to Settings → Payments. You will find three parts:
- Payment processors: connect and manage Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay.
- Manual methods: bank transfer, Wise, mobile wallets, cheque or cash.
- Defaults for new invoices: which ways to pay are offered, and whether clients may pay part of an invoice.
Connect a processor
Click Connect next to the processor, choose Test or Live mode, and paste your keys:
| Processor | What you need |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Secret key and webhook signing secret. Covers cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. |
| PayPal (email) | Only your PayPal email address. Payments are recorded when PayPal confirms them. |
| PayPal (API) | Client ID, secret and webhook ID. |
| Razorpay | Key ID, key secret and webhook secret. |
After connecting, Cliezoo shows a webhook URL. Add it in your processor’s dashboard so payments are marked as paid automatically.
Start in Test mode and pay a test invoice before switching to Live.
Add manual methods
Click Add a method and give it a name, instructions and, optionally, a QR code. You can add as many as you like. Clients can tell you “I’ve paid”, and you confirm it with Record payment.
Chase late invoices automatically
Go to Settings → Reminders to build reminder schedules: any number of steps, any offset before or after the due date. Reminders stop as soon as the invoice is paid.
With Cliezoo Pro
Pro adds recurring invoices, retainers, payment plans and late fees, plus more processors: Mollie, Paystack, Flutterwave, SSLCommerz, 2Checkout, Square, Braintree, Authorize.net and bKash, and Stripe bank debits (ACH, SEPA and Bacs).
