Troubleshooting

Fix common Cliezoo issues on WordPress: page caching, emails that don't arrive, background jobs and cron, the encryption key, and multisite.

Start with Setup Health: open Cliezoo in wp-admin and click Open Setup Health. It checks the items below and suggests fixes.

Pages look stale or logins misbehave

Cliezoo tells caching plugins and CDNs not to cache the workspace and client portal. Some cache plugins need an extra exclusion; Setup Health gives specific fixes for popular ones, including WP-Optimize, Perfmatters, FlyingPress, NitroPack and Jetpack Boost.

If you changed the app address, exclude the new address in your cache plugin too.

Emails don’t arrive

Cliezoo sends every email through WordPress, so it works with any SMTP plugin. If the setup wizard’s test email didn’t arrive, install an SMTP plugin and send the test again. You can see what was sent and what failed in Settings → Email log.

Reminders or background jobs are late

Cliezoo runs background work with Action Scheduler, triggered by WordPress cron. For reliable timing, set up a real server cron that calls wp-cron.php every minute. Setup Health warns you if WordPress cron is switched off.

Encryption key

Cliezoo encrypts saved secrets, such as processor keys. For the strongest protection, add a CLIEZOO_ENCRYPTION_KEY constant to wp-config.php. To change keys later, run wp cliezoo rekey.

Styles from my theme don’t show in the app

That’s by design. The workspace and portal run as a full-screen app isolated from your theme, so theme styles can’t break them.

Multisite

Network activation installs Cliezoo on each site, and each site has its own workspace.
